To say that the life I lead as a culinarian is one great adventure would be an understatement. As I continue to journey through the culinary landscape of the Philippines, I am amazed by the different phases of development that I am blessed to witness and be a part of. Every year when the “ber” months come around I embark on my annual journey of culinary festivities and competitions, delightfully interchanging roles from resource person in cooking demonstrations to participant in culinary festivals to the highest and most delicate of all vocations, a judge of culinary competitions.
So upon the invitation of executive director Winona Santos of ISHORE (Ilocos Sur Hotels Restaurant and Related Enterprises) I went with all gusto with a select group of my peers, friends and faculty from my culinary school to this year’s ISHORE Chefs on Parade.
